Master these five tasks and you have everything you need to quote jobs, get paid, track expenses and stay organised.

Send a Professional Quote

From job enquiry to branded quote in under 30 seconds.

  1. 1 Tap the Quotes tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap the + button in the top right.
  2. 2 Select an existing customer or tap New Customer to add their name, phone and address.
  3. 3 Give the quote a title (e.g. "Bathroom Refit"), then tap Add Line Item to add labour, materials or kit bundles.
  4. 4 Tap Send — choose email or SMS. Your customer receives a branded quote they can accept with one tap.
💡 Use Kit Bundles to save your most common job packages. Tap once to add them as a group instead of entering lines individually.

Convert a Quote to Invoice

One tap turns an accepted quote into a ready-to-pay invoice.

  1. 1 Go to Quotes and find the quote with Accepted status (shown in green).
  2. 2 Open the quote and tap Convert to Invoice at the bottom of the screen.
  3. 3 Review the invoice details — add any extra line items or adjust the payment due date if needed.
  4. 4 Tap Send Invoice. A payment link is included automatically so your customer can pay by card online.
💰 Card payments via the payment link are charged at 1.49% with no monthly fee. With Pro, Tap to Pay on site drops to 0.99%.

Schedule a Job

Book a job from an accepted quote or create a standalone appointment.

  1. 1 Tap the Job Diary tab. Tap the Schedule Job button in the top right.
  2. 2 Pick an accepted quote from the list to link the job to it, or tap New Job (No Quote) to create a standalone appointment.
  3. 3 Set the Start and End time using the date and time pickers. Add any job notes — these carry across from the quote automatically.
  4. 4 Tap Save Job. The job appears on the calendar strip. Tap it any time to see the location map and commute time.
☁️ Pro users see a 5-day weather forecast on the Job Diary — great for planning outdoor work in advance.

Accept a Card Payment

Get paid on site or send a payment link — no card reader needed.

  1. 1 Open the invoice you want to collect payment for. Tap Payment Link to share it via SMS, WhatsApp or email.
  2. 2 Your customer taps the link and pays by card online. Funds settle within 1–2 business days at 1.49%.
  3. 3 Pro only — Tap to Pay: Open the invoice and tap Collect PaymentTap to Pay. Hold your iPhone to the customer’s card or phone. Done.
  4. 4 The invoice automatically updates to Paid and the payment is recorded against the customer.
📲 Tap to Pay uses your iPhone’s NFC chip. No card reader or extra hardware required — just your phone.

Approve a Quote on Behalf of a Customer

Customer said yes on the phone? Record the approval in Yoley.

  1. 1Open the quote from the Quotes list. Tap Manually Approve (the green button next to the status badge at the top).
  2. 2Select how the customer gave approval: Approved by Phone, Text, Email, or Other.
  3. 3Add an optional comment (e.g. “Spoke with Mrs Jones at 2pm, confirmed budget”). This comment carries through into the job notes automatically.
  4. 4Tap Confirm Approval. The quote status changes to Accepted and you can now schedule the job.
