Yoley empowers you: your data is always to hand — no lengthy loading times, secure and convenient. Your quotes, invoices, customers and expenses live on your phone and in your own iCloud or Google backup, accounts you control. We don’t see your trading or your customers, and we believe there’s no safer way to protect them. We can’t see it, so there’s nothing for a third party to ask us for.
We keep no database of our customers’ trading. Your business exists on your phone and in your backup — and nowhere else for anyone to go looking.
You decide who sees your books — your accountant, your bank, whoever you choose. Ask Yoley for them and we have nothing to give.

Holding nothing doesn’t mean leaving you to it. Yoley puts your figures into HMRC’s own shape: every expense is filed against its SA103 box as you scan the receipt, and you can export a boxed summary for any date range as a PDF or spreadsheet — the thing your accountant actually wants. CIS deductions are calculated and recorded per subcontractor, with UTR and rate, ready for your monthly return.
To be clear about the boundary: Yoley prepares the numbers, it doesn’t file them. CIS returns and self-assessment still go to HMRC through their portal or your accountant.
Card payments are a separate matter, and a separate company. If you choose to take cards, those transactions are processed by Monek Merchant Services Limited, an FCA-authorised payment institution which — like every acquirer, Visa and Mastercard included — keeps and must produce its own records. That is how card processing works everywhere. It says nothing about what Yoley holds, which is nothing. Full detail in the Privacy Policy.
